nici pdoBiorevitalization performed with PDO thread involves local strengthening of the skin, and creating a so-called. supporting mesh. The PDO threads are made of a substance called polydioxanone that is widely used in surgery. This substance degrades in the skin after a certain amount of time that is set for the particular type of thread (absorption and disappearance). Polidioxanone has been approved with the CE certificate for medical substances and therefore is completely safe for the patient. It has been proven that the biorevitalization with PDO threads supports the process of neocolagenosis (collagen formation in the skin) and elastogenesis (elastin formation), which help to maintain skin tension and firmness.
Procedures using PDO threads can be performed on f the face, chin, and neckline. The procedures performed on breasts, buttocks, elbows, shoulders, knees and shoulders are also valued by our patients. The wide range of PDO threads offers many opportunities for improving skin condition and restoring natural and young appearance.
The procedures that involve application of the PDO threads are especially recommended for patients whose skin has locally lost its firmness.

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia administered in the form of cream or in addition injections. After skin anesthesia threads are inserted using thin needles (without the use of a scalpel). Depending on the requirements of the skin and anatomy of the treated region, straited or twisted threads of various lengths are chosen.

The skin after procedure may be tender, swollen and red. Local bruises may occur and will absorb within approx. 10 days after the procedure (depending on the patient’s predisposition). Sometimes there are visible wrinkles in the skin, which smooth spontaneously after a few days. After the procedure, facial massage, radio-wave procedures and laser procedures are not recommended. Because those treatments make the treads “dissolve” faster and therefore reduce their beneficial effect on skin.

The first results of the procedure are visible immediately, while the final result will be evaluated after 90 days. The follow-up visit usually takes place in a week, a month and 90 days after the procedure. Visible effects in the treated region persist for up to 2 years. This is a spectacular procedure which combines skin revitalization on the cellular level with reduction of wrinkles and gentle lifting. Biorevitalisation and support of the skin with PDO threads are dedicated to patients aging between 30 – 55 years.

Duration of the procedure 60-90 minutes
Convalescence time 5-15 days
Price of the procedure: depending on the number of inserted threads – from 100 PLN.
The procedure can be performed once for 1.5 years.
